Friday Focus: An Explosion of Protest
On the latest Friday Focus podcast, Rudyard and Janice talk about the pro-Palestinian protests rocking many campuses across the United States. They discuss why these protests seem to have escalated recently, the disturbing calls for violence that some of the protesters are making, and accusations foreign money is somehow influencing what we’re seeing. They also give a preview of an article Janice co-wrote that is appearing in Saturday’s Globe and Mail, which asks how Canada can matter more to the United States in this volatile global era – and offers some ideas on how to do that.
