Friday Focus: The Democratic Party rallies behind Kamala and Bibi’s speech to Congress
This week’s Friday Focus starts off with Rudyard and Janice’s discussion with the big US political news story of the week: Kamala Harris is shaking up the presidential race and breathing a breath of fresh air into a party that was languishing behind Joe Biden. Rudyard argues that in their desperation to offer up a viable opposition candidate to Trump, the media and party establishment have denied voters a proper nomination process to identify the most capable and experienced candidate. Next Rudyard and Janice talk about Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to Congress, which showed him to be a masterful politician yet also exposed the disastrous effect his leadership has had on US bipartisan support for Israel.
