This week’s Friday Focus kicks off with rumours that the long-awaited hostage and temporary ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas might be close. Rudyard and Janice discuss reports on what the deal might contain, and evaluate how well or poorly the Netanyahu government has handled the hostage situation. They also talk about a recently-released report that scientists working at Canada’s top infectious disease laboratory spied for China, and why the Canadian government fought to keep the report under wraps for so long.
