Gadi Taub is an Israeli author, historian, and op-ed columnist, He is currently a member of the faculty at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is also co-host of the popular Tablet Magazine podcast, Israel Update.

He writes about Zionism, Liberalism, and Psychoanalytic Theory. He is the author of a number of bestselling works of fiction, and several non-fiction books on Israeli culture and politics, such as What is Zionism (Hebrew) and The Settlers and The Struggle Over the Meaning of Zionism.
He received his Ph.D. in American History from Rutgers University.
